She’s also a big fan of colorful, graphic home textiles and accessories used for creating unique, playful and comfortable living spaces. Jeannie’s boutique, located in the center of Hayes Valley, showcases a beautiful selection of home accessories, textiles, lighting items and toys gathered from France and Southeast Asia, chosen carefully for their rich colors, bold patterns, modern prints, handmade details and luxurious fabrics. It also provides reupholstered vintage furniture updated with exclusive fabrics brought from Europe. Jeannie Fraise got her MA and PhD in Art History at Stanford University, and she also worked in the curatorial department of Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum and the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford.
At Lotus Bleu she also sponsored a fundraiser for East Meets West’s Village of Hope, a center for disadvantage and orphaned children in Vietnam that gives them a chance to a properly education, practical training and support.
